Here, in the parish of Lacenas, on the Domaine des Averlys in the heart of the vines, Mireille and Etienne will offer you a warm and generous Beaujolais welcome. They are proud of their vines and love passing on their passion for their domaine, its richness and its secrets. In the confines of their vaulted cave, they'll take great pleasure in helping you to discover the character of their wines, whilst taking the time to eat a typical winemakers aperitif.

The domaine des Averlys is situated on a ridge which climbs from the Saône to the high Beaujolais hills. Far from the hustle and bustle of the town, this is a quiet location with lovely views of the village of Cogny and the Beaujolais countryside.

The Domaine des Averlys is a welcoming guest house, perfect for our independent French walking holidays. They have tastefully added an extension to their historic house to provide 4 large rooms fashioned in wood, each decorated and named to evoke the different stages of growth of the vine.

The large reception room downstairs or the patio outside provides the setting for your 4 course dinner, which will be a lovely speciality of the region, accompanied by wine from the vines just outside the window. You'll share a memorable moment with your friendly and open hosts.
