We also organise tailor made guided trekking holidays in such locations as the Alps, Spain and Africa for private parties. We also organise guided walking holidays to other destinations in Europe and Africa. Our offices are based in Dorset, UK, although we have a permanent presence in the Beaujolais region of France. High Point Holidays is run by father and son Tony and William Armstrong. Tony is based in our offices based in Dorset, England and William, who runs several of our guided walking France holidays is based in the Beaujolais region of France. Both have experience of walking many of the great trails all over the world. William is also an experienced climber and mountaineer and has considerable experience leading guided walks in France and the UK.

New Independent walking Holidays for 2011

For 2011 we have added a number of new destinations in France, as well as introducing a range of exciting new walking holidays in England and Scotland. Our new range of walking holidays favour quiet, unspoilt destinations, untainted by the imprint of mass tourism. Where possible, we have chosen a selection of small, traditional guest houses offering amazing hospitality. All our holidays include extensive walking route guides, with additional information giving you invaluable insights into the places you are passing through. In addition, all luggage is transported for you, so you only have to carry a small day sack.

In France we have added new independent walking holidays in the Beaujolais & Burgundy regions as well as in the Provence and the Mediterranean coast. We also have new holidays in the mountainous regions of the Pyrenees and the Alps. Whilst in the UK we have two new holidays in the beautiful countryside of southern England, and some unique trips in the highlands and islands of Scotland.
